I see that wearing socks with your sandals is a big deal?
I DO wear socks with sandals. Here is why:
I'm a teacher, and on my feet all day long, so my feet do get hot (shoes don't ventilate, sandals do).
Out of professional duty, I wear socks. If you are in high school, do you want to see your teacher's nasty toes?
What is the big deal? My students always give me a hard time...but I don't care, and neither should you. If something is practical, don't you think you should use it? If something is impractical (pants around the ankles, high heels to heaven) don't you think you should not use it? By the way, if socks with sandals is taboo, what is so glorious about wearing your pants so loose they hang around your ankles? I would rather see someones socks than their nasty plaid boxers.
don't worry, i do wear too sometimes, people think it's weird...but if u feel comfortable with it, just wear the socks! don't bother wht other ppl said...

Could I possibly have PTSD?
At the beginning of this year, I basically tried to drown myself. Even since I have had a fear of water. But lately it has become very very bad. I don't really know the symptoms of PTSD and i probably should have done research before asking this question, but i didn't.
But now, I cannot take a bath, if the shower clogs and the water is around my ankles i must get out, i cannot walk near a pool, i cant go to the beach, and when i mean cant, i mean i freak out, hyperventilate and get flash backs and most times i'll cry.
I have also had dreams lately that I am swimming or near water and i'll wake up crying and/or hyper ventilating. I'm too scared. And I really can't stand to think about it anymore.
Does this mean i have PTSD or just a bad case of a fear for water?
Yes, you could possibly have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I am not a professional, but have done Psychology A level and a degree which included Psych. It sounds like you have a deep fear of water since you tried to drown yourself and now every time you see water, it all comes back to you. The only way you can beat this fear is firstly you must go to the doctor and ask to see a counsellor or a therapist who deals with this problem, secondly, you could try facing the fear "head on", this is called systematic desensitization. Basically, this works by making the fear come to its worst point, then when you cant be any more afraid, the fear will peak, then get lesser. Once you have done this a few times, the fear will get less each time. Either way, you still need the help of a trained therapist, take care..
