Inch Memory
How do I remove a memory card that has been wedged into my laptop memory card slot?
I have a Toshiba satellite computer, and about an hour ago, the memory card from my digicam got stuck inside the memory card slot of the computer. Obviously, I have realized that the memory card is too small. Tweezers are too big to get in, and I have tried using a hairpin. The card is at the super back, like half an inch in. Btw, the slot is more like a slit.
I'm desperate, what do I do????
If you can't find smaller tweezers then you could try shaking it out or even if your comfortable with computer hardware opening up your laptop and seeing if you can push it out from the inside. If you're not comfortable with that somewhere like Best Buy or any local computer store would be able to get it out.

I'd like to get a DSLR, but i want to know whether i need to buy a new card reader as well.
No. The card reader is SD (or SDHC) cards only.
You would have to buy a compact flash or universal USB card reader to use.
