does memory foam mattress toppers help arthritis, specifically gout conditions?
specifically does it help with pain management, not asking whether its a cure!
does foam help with pain management, my father has been taking zyloric and colchicin and those have helped, but may be the foam will help with the early morning pains..he right now sleeps on a hard bed.
No, Gout is an internal condition usually caused by eating food that is high in salt or fat. Memory foam may ease the pain so will only provide you with limited pain reduction while you sleep, it will not make the pain or the gout go away permanently. See a Medical Doctor for what you need to do for Gout!

I have bought the 2'' twice and cant see any reason why anyone except a very obese person perhaps, would need any thicker. FYI: they do wear down with time, and need to be rotated. And since they tend to be on the warm side, be sure and provide a good cotton barrier over the foam.
