Can anyone recommend a good memory foam matress topper?
I'm looking for a full size memory foam mattress topper for under $100. They have some on Overstock.com but some of the reviews are bad. So if anyone here could directly recommend one, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
We got ours at Walmart. Queen size, 1.5" memory foam, $99. It made a world of a difference!
But if you are an Info Freak, you should be aware that not all memory foams are alike! There are many different variations of material, weight per square inch, and density that can make your topper more or less expensive.

Those memory foam mattresses *are* warmer than traditional beds. That can be good or bad, but it is just a characteristic of the surface. There is not a whole lot you can do other than experiment with different types of covers. I am not sure what a "cool topper" is, but if you haven't tried a pillow top, try that. Look for the most firm and supportive one you can find–they will feel cooler than softer types. Good luck!!

Let me tell you that a temper-pedic bed on a good day isn't so wonderful. for a king size bed it is way more than $2000 and I find it to be like sleeping on a board. "memory" bed, the only memory it has is how to give you pain. I guess it's a good bed if you like hard beds, of which I do not. This bed is in my second home. In my bed in the city I have a Duxiana bed, so as you can see I go for the light springy beds that give with your body, not the hard beds. As the temperdedic is a patented formulation I don't think that any of the cheaper versions are going to have what the temperdic offers, if this is in fact the kind of bed that you do find comfortable. Yes, it is exensive, but it will last for years and years and you do get what you pay for. There are certain things where you don't go for the cheap and that is in beds, it's your back we are talking about, don't get a knock off, or you will be at the doctor so often that it will make up for the difference in price between the beds.
