memory foam mattress fumes and pregnancy?
Does anyone know how safe memory foam mattresses and toppers are during pregnancy? I worry about the smell when you get them.
I don't have a mattress topper but I do have a memory foam mattress and I feel it would be fine during your pregnancy, all mattresses smell funny when they are new so I don't think that will be harmful to your baby, but like someone has said, if you are really worried then ask your health visitor

I am 13 weeks pregnant and not sleeping well at all, any ideas for remedies to fix this problem?
I have tried Benadryl, Unisom, drinking some milk before bedtime, I bought a memory foam pillow, I have tried a hot shower before bed, etc etc. I still wake up many times throughout the night and then once morning comes, it is very difficult to drag myself out of bed due to exhaustion. This is my second pregnancy and I didn't experience any of this with my first one. Please advise me of any ideas you have to help with this or if you have experienced this yourself what you did to get more sleep. No sarcastic answers here please such as wait until you have the baby etc. because that is an obvious solution.
Well, I would try sleepy time tea at night, as well as reading. Be sure to get plenty of exercise during the day, to wear yourself out. Maybe you're overtired. Or it could just be the hormone changes that you are experiencing. I myself am suffering the menopause hormone thing, and it sounds like you're going through what I go through, so I tend to believe that it's hormone related. Do your best and remember that it will get better soon. (And congratulations!)

One is foam and one is filled with water.
Comfort-wise, I find the memory foam beds to be a bit claustrophic. And you can't adjust the firmness. I believe you can with the waveless waterbed.
