Pressure Support Memory
I have a memory foam mattress on wooden slats that keep breaking - is there something I can buy to stop this?
To explain... I have to slowly move across this bed because the slats on the bed are meant to support a spring mattress (i.e. springs that evenly distribute weight) but not a foam mattress (where too much pressure on one spot basically goes straight through!)
Is there anything I can buy - like a metal mesh to put on top of the slats but beneath the mattress to support the weight more evenly?
(FYI - I am not a heffer nor a heavy mover!) Thanks.
Regardless of weight, even platform beds that don't require boxsprings have slats are spaced less than 2 inches apart. Yours doesn't sound like anything even close to this. There are also typically several support legs made out of something like 2 x 2 in order to support hte the bed from head to toe. People are going to recommend plywood etc. Without proper support you will be putting unecessary presure on the side rails where the tie into the headboard and footboard.

Pressure in head, vision out of focus, worry, nervousness, memory loss, young male, any suggestions?
I have been experiencing pressure in my head (above my ears and around temples). My vision will go out of focus as my concentration slips away and I drift into a feeling of carelessness ( it feels good like I am relaxing), the problem is this happens to me at times when having concentration is important, like while having conversations. I get nervous in social situations. I feel tired often throughout the day, more so than seems normal. I'm intelligent and get good grades, but I come across as stupid in conversations because my focus and memory seem to be slipping away from me in these moments. I'm 20 yr old male, exercise regularly, and eat healthy. I really need help or support in figuring out how to get back on track and start achieving rather than reminiscing and feeling depressed.
i honestly would see a doctor... it could be something easy and simple like stress or a bit of genetic depression, but it could be much worse too. i hope its something simple. good luck with whatever it might be..

Honestly, sounds like these students aren’t really sure they want to go into medicine at all which truly is a life in science. They should be careful what they wish for. Wait till they are calculating an A-A gradient or adjusting pressure support settings on a ventilator in the ICU in their first year of residency at 2 AM, surely they would rather be attending an art opening or poetry slam. They may not realize it during their first exciting years of med school, but these natural artists may regret their decision to pursue medicine several years into their hectic paperwork and liability-filled practice years when they realize the sacrifice they made to choose medicine over their natural inclinations towards music, history, art, film, theatre or literature. If you love the humanities that much and have talent in those fields why choose med school? to help people? (so many ways to help people) the stable income? (fear of the starving artist), the prestige? (what prestige). The worst thing is, they choose it now, only to leave it later. This on top of all the physicians who are already leaving it.

Though I am a Male I do understand your dilemna having had many female students. Try a looser fitting sports bra or none and just a tshirt? Just wear the protective gear when you are fighting and maybe a normal bra under the tshirt so it is not as tight as a sports bra.
Try going to different sites as suggested above and see what different bras and other things that you may be able to use. I am sure you can find a solution that is more comfortable and less restraining that won't effect your performance anymore.
