Sounds like the sleep exercise and the new pillow are promising steps. You could also consider a memory foam topper to go over your mattress. These sleeping surfaces, in the experience of many, are beneficial in reducing the amount of muscle tension during the night. (Conventional spring mattresses can add to muscle tension for many people, as the springs create uneven sources of pressure on the body.)

If the "cool topper" didn't work, you can try a pillow top pad. My girl and I recently purchased a memory foam mattress and had the same problem. The "cool topper" was recommended by the store we bought the mattress at, but it didn't work for us either. We bought a pillow top pad from Wal-Mart that worked rather well, but it takes away from the memory foam slightly. Good Luck. I know the mattress wasn't cheap, hope it works out as well for you as it did for me.
