Top Fabric Off How do I remove mold off the top of the inside on a convertable top?
My husband left his top down during a rain storm one night. The top now has green spots all over it. I am guessing this is mold. How would I get it out of the top without messing the fabric more then it already is. The top is black so I don't want to use bleach. Any advice will be helpfull. Thank you!
Since bleach is not an option in this case I would recommend trying good ole' fashion soap and water, or possibly laundry detergent, obviously one without bleach. When you do this make sure the area has good air flow so none of the dead mold spores remain in the car, as I'm sure neither you nor your husband want him to be constantly breathing them in. Start by giving it a good scrub and then make sure you do a good job on the drying process as well. Since this was kind of a one time mistake sort of thing you wont have to worry about the mold re-appearing. If you have any other questions feel free to ask, but I'm confident this will work. Pink Crochet Top
How would you have handled this at the grocery store?
I was putting my groceries on the conveyor belt for the cashier and the top came off the bottle of fabric softener. It spilled down the front of my pants and all over the floor. The guy in line behind me looked disgusted and asked if I was going to clean it up!
I would have said hell no, do I look like I work here. Did you see me pour this crap all over me. Looks like an accident and if you want it cleaned up then clean it up yourself. Sorry, but he just pissed me off.
My son drank similac alimentum and I swear it smelled awful. I used to soak his clothes in regular detergent with oxi clean sprayed on it and then I was re wash in ALL baby soap with extra rinse when the spit up and stains were real bad and it got the smell out. Maybes its the dreft I heard its not so great on stains and smells more "perfumy" than anything. Heck I dunno..Maybe soaking them in regular stuff with the oxi clean like I did then repeat wash is needed *shrugs*
