Comfort Memory Foam Visco Mattress
New Mattress Good Value Good Quality Great Comfort?
Can anyone recommend a new mattress to me here in the UK? I'm a side sleeper so looking for something that's soft to medium in rating.
I can't afford a Tempur or Dunlopillo. If I could afford I would more than probably go for the latter and the Tallalay Latex as I tend to be warm and I think the memory foam and Tempur visco nasa stuff unfortunately keeps you a little too hot even with the special cool fabric covers they use to try and cool down.
What else can I look at mattress wise that isn't too expensive but offers great comfort and preferably no springs?
Are there any mattresses with say an inch or two of Tallalay and the rest regular reflex foam that are lower cost and still great comfort?
My suggestion if memory foam mattresses and latex mattresses are not in your budget is to purchase a firm mattress and boxspring. Then add the best memory foam topper or all natural latex topper to the surface. It's on the cheap and can offer a similar feel. I would not get the latex and memory foam built into the mattress because the cheap layers fail quickly an the memory foam and latex become useless. Most of the time you can't feel it anyway. You will want that to be at least 2 inches thick to matter and it should not be burried under quilting, fiber, and cheap low grade foam.
PS Newer generation Memory foams don"t always sleep hot. I’ve Heard That These Memory Foam Mattresses Sleep Hot. Is That True?http://www.stlbeds.com/articles/2010/04/22/i%e2%80%99ve-heard-that-these-memory-foam-mattresses-sleep-hot-is-that-true/?

I work at Overstock.com and have had customers test this out. The feedback I've heard on it is that it is just as comfortable to lay on two 2 inchers it feels the same as a 4 inch. However the foam moves around and you'll probably be straightening out pretty much every day.
