Memory Foam Air Matress
Did you let your Memory Foam matress pad rise up before putting in mattress?
I bought this one from Walmart

After I had it all set up w/the cotton matress cover, and sheets and comforter, I happened across the instructions that fell out of the box. It said to let the pad lay out on the floor for two days before using so it can air out , and get puffy. This wasnt a good option for me, b/c I wanted to suprise my husband with the pad, and bedtime was only about 3 hours away. So its been a week, and we just love it, so Im sure its fine, but thought I would ask anyway.
We didn't have floor space, but left it kind of draped across a couple of chairs and it worked out fine. By now yours should have puffed up well.

Memory Foam Air Mattress
Pillowtop with memory foam, should i use a mattress pad?
I just bought a Spring Air back supporter, cushion firm matrees with a memory foam pillowtop. "Bordeau" from Macys.
I put a matress pad over it, and I feel like its not letting the memory foam work properly.
My back is still hurting...Is the matress pad to thick? Or is it just the bed? Should I not use the mattress pad?
I think you should try it without the pad. Its a brand new bed, it should be great. If you do have back issues, they usually recommend a harder bed.
