Where online can I order a Japanese futon in America? I need it to be extremely comfortable and act as my bed.?
Where online can I find one? Right now, money is not an issue.
I would like to have one with memory/smart foam, one ? IF that is possible. Do they make ones like that? I am a really picky sleeper, and the futons I slept on in japan were old and I could feel the floor beneath me.... so hopefully a really nice one that is good for your back!!!
you dont have to serach online for a futon.
you can go to a japanese store such as mitsuwa or murakai and they sell futons. they even have the blankets pillows and the flooring that they use in japan.

Memory Foam Futon Mattresses
Futon vs. Mattress top?
So I'm ending off my sophomore year in college and I find that I can't deal with sleeping on the mattress that the school provides. It feels like a hammock and I feel terrible every time I wake up from it. So I moved myself to the floor and sleep on an egg crate mattress top and my comforter. I sleep better except for the change from the top bunk to the floor(it's still a little awkward to be 5 feet lower than I was before). Next year I'll be in the same room i.e. same bed so I decided to buy some sort of "bed" for the floor. I was looking at either a memory foam type mattress topper or maybe a thin futon mattress. Anybody have any experience with futons or a mattress topper on the floor? I'm not really expecting anything for just a mattress topper on the floor, but you never know.

why not just get a twin mattress...normally they are under a 100 bucks a little more for better quality...because a futon is gonna be around the same price..check them out at a local discount furniture store
