How much should I sell this for at a yard sale?
I have a log cabin type head board (unfinished), Queen size mattress and box springs, and also the bed frame.
I was thinking $100. It was only used for one year, then put in the guest room for the last two years, and only slept on two or three times.
It's in great shape. But we bought a memory foam set, and we are having a baby now and this set needs to go, so we can convert the guest room into a baby room.
The headboard looks exactly like The Kentucky Bed on this page.

I think 100 is good, you can go down if it's late in the sale, but I would start with that. Especially with a gently used mattress set.

can you "flip" a pillowtop mattress when there are indentations where we sleep?
We have an expensive king size pillowtop mattress. Simmons Beauty Rest. It is only 7 yrs. old and has indentations where we sleep. It is very uncomfortable since these "holes" make it impossible to turn over in your sleep and there is a high spot in the center of the bed. We are trying to figure out what to do. We have 2 other mattresses in our guest rooms that are very old and do not have pillowtopsthey are still quite comfortable to sleep on. I think that the pillowtop "feature" is the problem,but it is very difficult to find a non-pillowtop mattress. We do not want a memory foam one either. Which companies make a regular mattress.
No, you can't flip a pillowtop, but you can rotate it. Rotating the mattress should happen every 7 weeks or so. Also, vacuuming the mattress helps to keep the pillowtop fluffy and uniform.

The foam chairs on this page have a shredded furniture grade polyurethane foam filling. There is a very small amount of memory foam within the shredded fill. Memory foam is not a good material to use alone in furniture like this because it is dense and heavy and is not lofty. So after awhile of sitting on it, you would sink all the way down.
The shredded foam used in these is more supportive, but yet it is still soft and cushy. Plus, if it does flatten after sitting on it for awhile, you can quickly fluff it back up. Hope this helps.
