Memory Foam Matress Pad
What is the most comfortable matress pad?
I have a memory foam matress from walmart (lol I know what your thinking) I thought it would be comfortable, needless to say I was wrong. So I will be buying me a matress pad to go on top of it, but I do not not what I am supposed to buy. I want something really comfortable, and THAT ISNT MEMORY FOAM
Any suggestions?
We bought a Serenity Pillowtop from Sears. It is divine!!! Also had a Simmons Beautyrest Pillowtop in the past, it was a good one too. Just make sure it's a pillowtop - gets rid of those pressure points that you get from regular mattresses.

how do you remove and wash the Tempur-Pedic matress cover?
I was told I could remove and wash the cover to the mattress and when I unzipped the mattress cover I found that it was glued to the rest of the memory foam below! So I have the 3 inch foam pad (which the cover is sewn in/onto and then that is wrapped in a netting and then the netting is glued onto the memory foam below! So I'm not sure how to remove and wash the cover (which is cashmere I guess).
Do you have a pillowtop model (such as the Celebrity or Allura) Tempur-Pedic? On those models, the cover is sewn in and cannot be removed. On any of the other models (ClassicBed, RhapsodyBed, DeluxeBed, SymphonyBed, etc.) the cover should be able to be removed. I would first try to call your local dealer to see if they can come out and take a look at it for you because unless you purchased directly from Tempur-pedic they are probably going to initially direct you back to them. If you don't get the response you are looking for from them I would contact Tempur-Pedic directly at 1-888-811-5053.

I doubt it since memory foam mattresses are also made for comfort out of breathable materials. Do you suffocate when you fall asleep with your face in the blankets? No! I would say its the same principle
You would only suffocate if you were too intoxicated to respond to your body's signals for oxygen. In other words, IF the mattress is such that it would be able to prevent you from breathing while lying face down on it, your body would alert you, you'd wake up, and you'd roll over. If you were drunk beyond recognition though, well, you could die sleeping on a normal bed, the body doesn't respond to things like that as it would normally. This is how drunk people die choking on their own vomit ( sorry, gross, but true). So unless you think your body can't take care of breathing, well, don't sleep on one. BTW- I wouldn't put an infant to sleep on one either.
well everyone has survival instincts so you're body won't let you suffocate. you will simply roll over to a position that allows you to get more air. if your air intake is severly limited during sleep, you will automatically wake up.
