Memory Foam Mattress King Set
How much does bedroom furniture (decent quality wood) depreciate each year?
I need to sell my bedroom set....king memory foam mattress, head and foot boards, nine drawer dresser with a mirror and two night stands with two drawers each.
I purchased the set in 2005 for $5000.00
The best thing to do is to get on to Craigs List, Backpage.com and Ebay. See what similar pieces are going for. There is no Blue Book value for furniture or mattresses. At best I would say you would be lucky to get 40 - 60 percent of origninal value.

Well, I've always associated it with the fact that a large bed would be "fit for a king" and a smaller one would be "fit for a queen"… but now that you mention it, if America doesn't believe in a monarchy, you'd think they wouldn't use their system in naming mattress sizes… hmmm… I don't know. Unless maybe mattresses came from another country? Lol. Good question. Quite possibly they named them without really realizing what they'd done and… it just stuck.
