Trundle Bed Top
What do you think of Bunkbeds?
I have a 7 yr old, soon to be 2 yr old and I am 25 weeks pregnant. I told my husband I am not comfortable of having our son (2 yr old) in the same room as the baby I would be afraid of him putting things in her crib with her in it. I would plan on putting her in the crib at 6 months. We are still trying to get our son to sleep in his new bed. He loves playing and laying down on it but not sleeping he still prefers the crib. My husband suggested that we get a bunk-bed for my two children with the oldest using the top bunk. I am nervous of bunk-beds I have suggested a trundle bed to him but he is against it. Is bunk-beds safe? What do you feel and what have you experienced.
Our girls have been in bunk beds since the youngest was about 2 I think. I guess I was worried at first but they did fine. We did have one of those rails for the top when they were younger.

The McRoskey Daybed/Trundle
Need help with rearranging bedroom.... anyone with best answer, ten points!?
Hey everyone. I loove to rearrange my bedroom because I get sick of it after a while. I have a trundle bed (two bunk beds) an armoire, a big dresser, one nightstand, and a nightstand with a TV on top. My room is about 11x13. on the front wall is the door into my bedroom on the far right hand said, then next to the door is my big dresser, then the nightstand with the tv. On the left 13 ft side is my window, and in the bottom left corner is my beds. Next to my beds is my nightstand. On the 13ft right side is my closet and my armoire. Next to the armoire is the door to my bathroom.
if none of that description made any sense, just stick to this. I have 2 beds, an armoire, 2 nightstands, (one with a tv) and a big dresser.
I've arranged my room so many times and I don't know what to do. Oh and I can't move my TV from the far left hand corner.
What should I do????

i also want the room to look more OPEN than it is because well it's 11x13, it's kinda small
I think it would look best to move your bed out of the corner
and center it on the 11ft wall with the nightstand.
You could even add a small desk in the corner next to the window,
a corner desk would be ideal.

Could you slide the dresser over and place the tv on top and remove the tv nightstand.
An uncluttered room will give an open feel along with decorating to define each space instead of randomly.
