Dreams Sleep Therapy

My girlfriend has had dreams of killing herself and last night woke up with knives in her hands, help?
This has happened once before, she had a dream that she was going to hang herself and woke up by the stairs with an electrical cord wrapped around her neck. She has no history of sleep walking and says she no longer wants to die. Can anyone explain what's going on? Also, I've convinced her to start therapy so hopefully that will help.
best thing to do is seek help fast and be her friend to help her get throught it and show her all the love and support that she needs

Deep Sleep Therapy $90.81 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Deep Sleep Therapy (or Deep Sedation Therapy, DST) was a psychiatric treatment based on the use of psychiatric drugs to induce a coma in patients diagnosed with mental disorder. Induction of deep sleep for psychiatric purposes was first tried by Scottish psychiatrist Neil Macleod at the turn of the 20th century. He used bromide sleep in a few psychiatric patients, one of whom died. His method was adopted by some other physicians but soon abandoned, perhaps because it was considered too toxic or reckless. In 1915, Giuseppe Epifanio tried barbiturateinduced coma therapy in a psychiatric clinic in Italy, but his reports made little impact. Deep Sleep Therapy was popularized in the 1920s by Swiss psychiatrist Jakob Klaesi, using a combination of two new barbiturates from pharmaceutical company Roche. Klaesis method became widely known and occasionally used as a procedure for psychotic illness in the 1930s and 1940s. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. The Truth About Sleep Paralysis - How to Stop it - Treatment - Help - Causes
How come when I sleep while burning incense I have vivid dreams?
Usually, when I sleep I don't have any dreams or I can't remember them. I would say 8/10 times when I burn incense when I lay down to go to sleep in an attempt to relax myself, I have very vivid and colorful dreams, and can remember pretty much all of them. Some are so vivid it almost seems real at the time (which is quite nice I might add, when you're having a really good one, until the alarm clock goes off.)
So is there some sort of connection? I'm only guessing but is it because you are using your sense of smell you are partially kept awake while sleeping? I don't know much about aroma therapy, and can't find any answers about this, if I type it in google I only get witches and spells and stuff like that. I'm wondering if there is a natural (physical) connection, since I don't believe in spirits and all that jazz.
You are sort of right. Sense of Smells is the strongest sense. When you smell a certain scent, it sometimes brings back a memory. When you sleep your brain is still awake and because you are not awake the "memory" is still shown through dreams.

In some ways that reminds me of my current workplace in terms of being recession-proof, I can see how it’d be hard to give it up the benefits and such. The drama though reminds me of a previous job I had in a local government job, where similar kinds of under-the-bus type activity was a frequent occurrence for some of the long-time “lifer” employees. If you do end up seeing the doctor about your issue, you might see if they could work with you to leverage that into a reason for you to adjust your work schedule. Ostensibly the justification for this would be that you’re trying some new sleep therapy prescribed by your doctor, but really you’d be trying to adjust your schedule to compensate for your not being anything close to a morning person. That’s just to help prevent your late arrivals; hopefully your boss would be willing to accommodate. You might do some reading on handling the [toxic if you haven’t already. Did you mean to say you are noW entirely deaf? Or almost entirely deaf?
Go and seek sleep therapy…. *rme*
