Extra Firm Pillowtop is it the foam or the coils that makes you sink into a mattress?
I bought a new simmons beautyrest with pillowtop and when I sit on the bed, I sink deep into it. When I move on the bed, I roll back into the pit I created where I was. I'm going to switch for another mattress, but I'm wondering what is causing this. Is it all the layers of foam (memory foam does this I think) or is it the individual spring coils? My upper body sinks in and my feet (that weigh less) are sort of up in the air, giving the feeling of sleeping downhill.
Should I get a traditional continuous spring mattress (maybe a stearns and foster) with minimal cushion on top? Or just another simmons beautyrest but without the pillowtop (a "firm" or "extra firm" instead)? Hubby and I like the idea of non-transference of movement (I move a ton and he doesn't move an inch) but if it's going to make me feel like I'm sleeping "downhill", then we'll trade that in for firmness.
It is the memory foam. We got a firm with a small pillow top and love it. I would recomend it to anyone, because you fall asleep the moment you lay on it.....Yours could be defective

Where to buy Budget. Reviews say Simmons DeepSleep innerspring line is the best choice if you're on a budget. The DeepSleep has a variety of comfort levels, but the biggest difference compared to the Beautyrest line is the lack of pocket coils. Instead, the mattress consists of double tempered, heavy gauge coils, but they are not hinged together as on the Sealy Posturepedic line. The DeepSleep lacks the benefits of pocket coils, weight support, or other costly extras like a pillowtop.
So now you have no reason not to know your stuff when your back aches for a new mattress next time!

Suggestions were to watch carefully to what really upsets your dog. Dogs & Cats are more sentitive to changing weather. I was told some can sense a change coming long before it is noticely to us. Once you know for sure it is the weather that is bothering them, then you have to try to make everything seem normal. We were told to buy a cd with the sound of thunder, wind and rain. We had to play this on very low all day and to increase the volume each day. Needless to say it didn't work for my dog. She still hides in the basement each time she senses a storm coming. The alternative was to give her medication but it made her so unresponsive for such a long period, that we stopped giving it to her. I have found the best thing is to let her be by herself but to check on her often. She now has a second bed in the basement and a night light as well. My vet has said this is a very common occurence is dogs.
As to you being pregnant, it might just be a coincident or he feels the changes you are going through. Just keep on loving him and be sure to keep it up once the baby arrives. You don't want him feeling he has been completely replaced by your baby. Good Luck

I just adore all of the ingredients that you've listed (quinoa and papaya juice … oh my) and enjoy each of the “meat” substitutes you've talked about. I agree with you that firm or extra firm tofu is the best … I've tried the softer versions and … they just don't do it for us. Tempeh is one of my favorite things in the world (Mellow Mushroom makes a mean tempeh sandwich). We buy wheat gluten and make our own seitan. My husband has even gotten creative with it and made his own “burger crumbles”. It's so versatile.

I have tried it various ways…going light, going heavy, cold weather, warm weather…you name it. It just did not work for me, it seemed like it made foundations just slide off my face…and it had a strange smell as well. Thanks for the giveaway!
It is ok if he is challenging you to be the best person that you can be. But it's NOT ok for him to do it in a way that makes you feel like you are not good enough or like you don't measure up to him. That is NOT ok and that is not healthy for any relationship. He needs to change his approach.
And MOST important, you need to challenge him as well. HE needs to be working just as hard to be with you. It's not just about HIM. It's not just about YOU working hard for HIM. Set your standards high too, so he will know what it feels like when YOU get disappointed.
Dont EVER EVER EVER EVER allow a man to make you feel like that EVER!
