Memory Foam Frames How to make a platform Queen size bed frame with drawers?
Im getting ready to buy a new Queen Size (60"X80") Memory Foam Mattress and i was looking at platform bed frames. I would rather make one myself, so i can personalize it and not have to spend to much money.

(mainly just the frame and head board) All that storage would be great, but i dont know what to all buy, where to start, or how to lay it out.. I figured for the drawers underneath, i could just buy a cheap dresser and use the drawers that way, and just paint them to match the rest. but I would also want the bed to be able to be moved easily, so i can take it apart and put it together without having to worry about the wood spitting or getting worn out..
How about putting the mattress on a regular frame and then putting drawers on rollers underneath. That way moving it would be very simple. False fronts on the drawers could fill the space so the drawers look built in.

Does anyone know anything about pricing on RESTONIC beds & mattresses?
I just bought a Restonic Londonaire 5000 series bed from a local store for $1399 including frame. This is a foam type bed claiming 3 inches of 5lb memory foam with a 6" Latex foam core. The crazy thing is, I don't see these bed ANYwhere online! I found the MFG's website, but no prices. Anyone know about these? TIA very much for any help!

I think it only came in the one thickness (5cm perhaps?) and looked a little thick at first but it has proven to be perfect. Our little girl uses this as a pillow to keep her back, neck and head elevated in line with the edge of the cast. We just line the long edge up with the edge of her cast so that she is then fairly level. It is nice and soft but still supportive and she sleeps so much better with the memory foam than with anything else we tried.
