Memory Foam Lumbar Cushions
I'm 18, why can't I get rid of lower back pain when I wake up?
I'm an 18 year old guy and in the autumn of 2007 I sat hunched forward at a computer for a long period of time putting pressure on my lumbar spine, and ever since I have been waking up in the morning with lower back pain. When I get out of bed, the pain will gradually go and I am ok during the day and can play sport etc. I also feel fine when I get into bed and I do not have problems sleeping.
I have a memory foam mattress and I always sleep with pillows under my knees and I sit in chairs with a cushion behind my back whenever possible, but I still wake up in pain. I went to the doctor and he told me to do stretches etc but they haven't really helped. Last year I was ok for a few months but now it has come back.
I am very skinny and I don't know whether slim people are more vulnerable to back problems.
I am worried that I have damaged my back permanently at such a young age, any suggestions?
i just had lower back surgery,ruptured disc,i had low back pain before that for a while.go see an orthopaedic doctor and have an mri.they will tell you if you have anything major to worry about.take care of it now before it worsens my friend!trust me!back surgery is no fun!
