Memory Foam Mattress King
Do you own a Foamex and/or Aerus Mattress?
So I'm having a hard time find any info or reviews on the mattress company Foamex and/or Aerus. From what I can see they are a company based in States and the mattresses are sold in Sam's Club stores.
Does anybody own a Aerus mattress? What are your thoughts?
Do you have back problems? Has it helped at all?
I'm thinking of buying the Aerus Natural Ultra-Luxe 12” King Size Memory Foam

All Memory foam is not created equal. There are many things to consider.

Quality

Density
Chemical Off Gassing
Weather or not the foam will sleep hop.
Foams found in dept. stores and big box stores at this time don't provide much of this information and they are cheaply priced for a reason. Just to put it into perspective an OK quality memory foam mattress in 10" thickness should cost you at least a 1000.00.
Even if you do not intend on buying a tempurpedic go to their store and get an education about memory foam they are the best and what all is measured up too. Do your homework. An educated consumer is a happy consumer.

Good Memory Foam Mattress?
I have been checking into a new mattress and I was wondering what a good mattress would be. I have seen Tempur Pedic and Bragada, but I am looking for a cheap substitute. Anyone have suggestions? Leaning towards a King if possible. Trying to keep it under $800, $1000 tops.

In this short review I'm going to give you the basics of what makes a good memory foam mattress and then let you decide.
I do have a recommendation in my bio section at the bottom of the page but you ill be able to judge the merits of any mattress with what I'm about to reveal to you.
You can go through hundreds of web pages looking at every foam mattress that's ever been made and you'll come up with a ton of confusion and mis-information.
You can come up with the same results if you try to read all the memory foam mattress reviews that have ever been written.
The fact is that there are only a few things you need to know about a memory foam mattress in order to make a selection that will absolutely delight you.
4 Critical Things You Must Know:
Country of Origin
Density
Sensitivity
ILD
Country of Origin
First, and most critical is the country in which the foam is poured. No matter what I reveal to you here, none of it will matter if you begin with a foreign foam that contains harmful chemicals that wouldn't be allowed to be put into
American made foams.
Foreign foam has given these mattresses some bad rap because they might smell funny or not be as comfortable as the ones made in America using American labor and foam.
Density of Foam
Next, the density of the memory foam is what makes it suitable for properly supporting your body to deliver sweet, pain free sleep.
Density is a measurement of the weight of the foam and 5 lb. density, or greater, is considered to be the most supportive.
4 lb. density foam is acceptable but won't give the same support and won't last as long as the denser foam so it should be priced accordingly.
You can buy a 4 lb. mattress for much less than a denser 5 lb. mattress so you might get one, put it on your bed and see how you like sleeping on memory foam.
If you like it, give the mattress to one of your kids or put it into a guest room and buy yourself a higher density mattress.
Temperature Sensitivity
Not all manufacturers and dealers will be honest in their dealings so you must ask if the memory foam they're trying to sell you is temperature sensitive.
Memory foam doesn't have a strict definition so someone could be passing non-sensitive foam off as memory foam.
Temperature sensitive foam will soften under your body as heat is transferred into the foam making it even more comfortable.
ILD
ILD is a technical way of rating the firmness of a mattress.
If you like a firm mattress you'll want an ILD of 16 or more while a very soft mattress might have an ILD of 10 to 11.
Trying different firmnesses and then asking what the ILD is will help you in determining which mattress might best suit your needs.
Also, many of the mattresses are made up with two or more layers of memory foam to give you a soft feel on top and the supportive feel under that.
Like I said in the beginning not all memory foam mattress reviews give you information like this but I feel it helps for you to be informed about the basics.

SA – The Kilborn years with TDS are so different that it's practically another show. I mean, it had some political stuff and celebrity guests, but it was so much lower in profile and focused more on making fun of people who weren't politicians. Stories like “The People of Booger Mountain” about the fight (in Tennessee, I think) about maybe changing the name “Booger Mountain” to something generic and another one about some ancient-looking Mattress King guy from New York were more typical.
