Memory Foam Pad
Should I use a regular cotton mattress pad with a memory foam mattress topper?
Just got a new memory foam mattress topper and not sure if it will be too hot and unbreathable without the mattress pad.
You will want to buy a good quality matress pad. Because the memory foam toppers increase your body temp by 2-3 degrees at night. So you want something that will keep a fair amount of distance off the foam itself. You could even try a feather bed to go over the foam. Plus those are very comfy and cozy. (like sleeping on a cloud)

Yes,foam over time will turn that kind of brownish color.It's just the life ageing of foam,normal.

Nancy, this is me, gldno1. I will be following the blog with great interest. I have hip ‘issues’; recently bought a memory foam pad (4 strength) to top our very firm mattress. I cannot lay on my left hip at all. When I am up and moving I do pretty good but can’t put any pressure on it at all.I can’t believe it h as taken 2 years to get to this for you. Please tell me it isn’t your medical system.
