I am about to buy a new full or queen mattress and my budget is limited. I want something on the 300-maybe 500 dollar range. Do you know the difference between eurotop (sp?), firm, pillowtop, and plush means? and if so are there any recommendations? Thank you!

Simmons Beautyrest Latitude Pillowtop Mattress Set - Twin
Wrong Mattress Delivered!?!?!?
So this morning I finally got my new mattress!! They set it up, I signed the papers... just like I ordered a plush pillowtop. My girlfriend and I wasted no time breaking it in. After we did our thing I went to rip the tags off the mattress I noticed it was a different brand than I ordered. After investigating I realized I recieved a much more valuable mattress than I purchaced. I also noticed on the tags it's from an entire different mattress store. I don't know what to do? Should I call the Mattress store and tell them what happened? Looking the prices up on the internet this mattress is about $1000 more than the one I ordered. I cannot afford to pay the difference and ifI call them up and they do want to exhange it..The Poor people that get this expensive bed will be getting a bed that I have had intercourse on.......What should I do?!?!?! What will they do?? the whole thing is screwed up..I wish I just got the mattress I ordered.....
I'm not really sure what they can do. It is illegal in most states to resell a used mattress, and even if you can, you have to rip the tags off and sell it as such. You can call the mattress store and tell then of the error, so that they know what happened, but the worst that is going to happen is that they are going to send you what you originally ordered and ask you to return the one you have currently. I would hope that they are a reputable dealer and would not resell that mattress. If they are a good retailer, I would hope they would just cut their losses on the product and let you keep it. They are not going to be able to recoup the cost of shipping you out what you originally ordered and pay the return shipping fee for the other mattress by selling the used product.
They may not even know what happened (yet). I am sure that your mattress got crossed with the other one in shipping. If this is the case, it is the onus of the shipping company to remedy the situation for the retailer. We had this happen once and the shipper had to pay all the shipping fees and the cost of one of the mattresses (because the customer canceled), but we were able to figure out what happened before either of them had been delivered.
