Well Im 7 months, almost 8 months pregnant, and I cant take another day of my 7 year old mattress. What mattress do you have? I need something VERY comfortable, for under 800 dollars. I prefer a plush top, not firm nor pillowtop. Plush is perfect. In your opinion what is the best mattress out there, in my general price range! Thanks!
I'm sleeping on a Sealy Celestial Posturpedic. The king sized bed cost me $2800, but it was the BEST investment ever. One of the nice things about foam beds is that they don't wear out, so you can get one used (if someone is foolish enough to want to get rid of theirs) for a song and a dance. Even the pillowtop mattresses pale in comparison. I absolutely LOVE my bed!

Which mattress? Stearns and Foster or Simmons? Thanks!?
Here's the deal. I'm really active and I play tennis every day and golf alot, as well. I think the time has come for me to purchase a new mattress. I laid on 56 mattresses today (yes, I counted) and I narrowed my search to two.
One: Simmons World Class Plush Euro Pillowtop
Two: Stearns and Foster Plush Euro Pillowtop
The Stearns and Foster feels a little firmer and slightly less comfortable than the Simmons World Class. Right now I have a Sealy Posturepedic Plush (no pillowtop) which is about 5 years old. The Simmons is a little thicker, as well. However, Sealy makes Stearns and Foster and I'm happy with all the Sealys I have owned. I have never owned a Simmons and I don't know much about them.
So if you have either, or even if it's just the same make, let me know what you think about your mattress. They both MSRP for about $2200-$2500, but they would do $799 on the Simmons and $899 on the Stearns and Foster.

Ethan, I would go with the Simmons. Not only is it cheaper but I do like how the mattresses are not too soft nor too hard. I paid 850 for mine and I got a free mattress pad and bed rails with it.

So they will tell you anything you want to hear. The $499 mattress most likely has 432 coils. Your mattress probably has 680 coils. ALL mattress retailers run 50% off sales. A good mattress should have at least 800 coils at 14 gauge wire. If the gauge is thicker, 13 gauge, then under 800 is ok. Sealy gauge is 14 gauge non-continuous coils. See how to buy a mattress.
