Support Pillow Stop

i always wake up on my stomach! will i hurt the baby? How do i make myself stop?
i stack pillows.... infront and behind me. and i KNOW i cant sleep on my stomach. ive tried everything. but i ALWAYS wake up on my stomach. am i really hurting the baby that bad. i mean... im going to do whatever it takes to stop regardless (if we have to strap me down) but...is it hurting the baby bad?? i proabably shouldnt be asking that. but... do you have any tips.... or have any of you had the same problem during pregnancy?? im needed a little support i think.
SORRY i knew i was forgetting something! 21 weeks along ![]()
god needs to forgive everybody. i do ask for forgiveness...EVERYNIGHT. im not the most christian person you will ever meet. but... i try. but what does that have to do with this anyways?
thanks anyway. and PLEASE no smart comments. or rude comments about my unborn child. i will report you. i do take offence to them. as would ANY good mother. (just so the rest of you know... ive gotten a few so far)
As long as it isn't causing you pain the baby should be fine. He's protected inside of your uterus and membranes. You should get a pregnancy pillow. I have one made by Boppy and now that I'm in my 3rd trimester I don't think I could survive without it! It makes sleeping a whole lot easier when you have support under your belly and around your back. I always used to sleep on my belly before I was pregnant and now I miss sleeping on my belly. With the pillow I can sleep halfway on my belly though, so it helps to at least change up sleeping positions a little.

Worlds Best Stomach Sleeper Pillow
My baby is almost 6 months old and hasn't started rolling yet, is that okay?
She doesn't even seem interested in rolling over. She gets plenty of tummy and back time. I have tried putting her favorite toys just out of reach to encourage rolling and she just gets frustrated and stops trying or cries. I've also propped pillows so they are at an incline to show her what rolling is like. She liked that but just as a fun game. Any suggestions or stories would be appreciated.
Also, she loves sitting and standing (when supported). She seems to be developing in all the other areas.
My first baby was able to roll over quickly. But she did not walk until she was 1. As long as your doctor knows and he/she seems to think everything is fine then try not to worry. My daughter was also able to pull up earlier than most kids but still did not walk by herself until she was 1. I think it was just her wanting to be carried everywhere and just being dependent on me. I remember it scared my to death when she was 4 months old, I turned around for one second and all of a sudden she was on her belly. Good luck and congrats on your new baby!!

In reading your blog about the traveling nursing pillow, I just had to tell you about our breast support pillow – the Utterly Yours Breast Pillow. It's small enough to throw in your diaper bag when out and about and really helps those women who want to be somewhat discreet when nursing.
All the other nursing pillows support the baby, but this supports the breast – giving you a hands-free solution. [and relieves wrist pain!]
Check it out! http://www.utterlyyours.com
Thanks and best of luck!

I have worked for 3 chiropractors and am shocked at how easily people go along with their magical thinking. The scope of their practice is indeed very limited but they branch out into nutrition, acupuncture, etc. Most back pain clears up when a person is trained to do a brief set of daily back exercises and use a lumbar support pillow. As a massage therapist myself, I have seen properly applied massage therapy yield far better results.
Adjustable inserts allow shape and height to be changed to suit any physique. Memory foam contour cervical neck support pillow helps to reduce & stop snoring through side sleeping.
